A person ( Pakistani) who is living abroad how can send divorce papers to his wife.

Ans. He will have to prepare power of attorney through his attorney and he will appear in embassy to verification of power of attorney prepared by his lawyer, after verification he will send it to his lawyer and in Pakistan the attorney will appear in Ministry of foreign affairs and the power of attorney will be attested and then attorney will be start the divorce process on the behalf of the person living abroad.

Divorce process as Muslim family ordinance explain in section 7 that divorce will be sent one by one , means one notice in every month and after receiving notice Union Council notice to husband and wife.

The attorney will appear on the behalf of the person living abroad and union council Start process of reconciliation.

Reconciliation process will complete in three months and Union Council issue certificate of divorce. 

Union Council certificate will be prove of completion of divorce.


If any woman living abroad ( Pakistani) want divorce, she will have to issue Power of attorney to anyone who can appear in court on her behalf,
