How do you check CNIC is blocked or not?

If you present your Cnic in bank for account open , they will return and deny if your Cnic is blocked. You can't use your blocked id card for issuing sim , or apply for any job, not use any where if it's blocked.

The family court was blocking the id cards in past some years, who were not paying the maintenance to the wives as per ordered of the court,
So it was common that for recovery of maintenance allowance, family courts were blocking the id cards, which was illegal as per in Case law Lahore high court decided.
 Now any family court can't block CNIC (id card) because id card is the fundamental right of every citizen. 

Without id card you can not travel, can't job, can't open bank account, can't take a place on rent. Can't buy or sell any property.
