Court jurisdiction meaning in Urdu
Court jurisdiction refers to the authority granted to a court to hear and decide legal cases. It defines the types of cases a court is empowered to adjudicate, the geographical area it covers, and the extent of its decision-making power. Jurisdiction ensures that a court has the right to handle a specific case, considering factors such as the subject matter, location, and the individuals or entities involved in the legal dispute.
